I'm getting this error issue with my render slave
Main system has 4X 1080ti hybrids
Node has 2X 980ti and 2X 1070
Can the scene not exceed the vram limit of the lowest card....even if it's on the node?

How much VRAM do you need in the Master for that particular scene?
Have you enabled the Out-of-core option in the Slave?
You need 5/6GB of free RAM for paring 1080ti, I guess.

I didn't realize that the VRAM scaling would be affected by the node. When I disabled the 980ti's it worked fine.
Kind of a bummer regardless. =/
