Hi there, not sure why but the material previews in the material pallet aren't showing properly? Some are but most aren't. If I click on them they display correctly in the attribute manager and viewport just not in the pallet. I've attached a screenshot, they all coming up solid white. Any ideas?
the ones that aren't showing look like C4D materials. The ones that are showing are octane.
Notice the difference in the checkerboard background between the two.
Check the C4D texture manager to see if you have missing textures that might be causing the thumbnails to not display correctly.

Ah yeah, there's something different, but c4d materials should show though right? They are all octane materials. Hmm actually I have a feeling some of them were made in octane 3, if I make new materials they're alright... would a version discrepancy cause this? Ugh it'll be a pain to have to rebuild all the materials.
White materials look like having high emission values. Not unexpected results for previews. Check results from Live Viewer with some proper setup.

Hi just letting you know that I've found a work around. There is definitely something up with opening octane 3 files in octane 4 and the material thumbnails not updating properly. If I double click the broken material and then click the node editor button it'll reload the thumbnail properly, but until I do this the material appears solid white. (just thumbnails, the materials render correctly regardless)
