Hi,
I am trying to texture a mountain in Cinema 4D that was created with the Landscape tool. This problem runs with any obejcts as you can see with the attached image.
So instead of using the V vertical gradient for Y the vertical is using it for X and z.... if I select an U instead of V it will only flip sides.
This is a MAJOR, MAJOR problem for texturing relief and what not....

Interesting topic! First you should do the texturing with octane nodes, not with c4d things. If you do that you cannot use any projection types else of uv mapping and loose quality/performance. Octane projection is your friend, also osl texture's.
