I have been searching the forums and the Help page for answers but couldn't find anything, so I hope I'm asking for something people have already discused here:
As far as I know, for every node in Octane, the transform and projection nodes overrides the C4D projection in it's shader Tag. So far that's what I'm used to and works like a charm.
Now I noticed something different: when using displacement in C4d, is it a normal behavior to have the displacement projected according the C4D shader Tag projection even if a Transform or Projection are applied? Does it mean it works the other way around with displacements nodes? C4D shader Tag projection overrides Octane's Transform and Projection's node?
Hope it's clear and you folks understand it. Just wanted to know this is expected because I couldn't find an explanation to this.

Hi,
yes correct, Displacement is completely different from other channels, and it is calculater before the shaders.
For this reason it has some limitations, and for example, also the Border mode is not taken into account with Displacement.
ciao Beppe

Would be good to have it in the Help searcher.
Cheers!
