OctaneRender™ 4.00 for LightWave™ - stable build 4.00.0.21

render is very slow when using denoiser + motion blur. 20 sec render frame + 1m30s reload frame. without motion blur - 20 s frame + 10 s reload frame. the scene is very simple about 300 000 polys.

This problem can be related to having a lot of motion blur steps to be extracted, or perhaps to have a lot of instances or polygons just at the same place, increasing the pre-processing time. It is hard to say without checking the scene. If you want to send it to me, I could take a look at it.promity wrote:render is very slow when using denoiser + motion blur. 20 sec render frame + 1m30s reload frame. without motion blur - 20 s frame + 10 s reload frame. the scene is very simple about 300 000 polys.

Not sure if you guys had already figured this out, but having Denoising enabled and IPR open seems to make things pretty unstable. I had about 5 crashes in one hour (building a scene), and realized I had denoising enabled, even though I just had Beuaty showing in IPR and not Beauty Denoised... disabled Denoising and haven't had a crash since....
