Can I bake hi-poly into low poly or rather a huge scattered scene into a low poly shell?
Does Octane work in 3dMax render-to-texture tool?
Baker question?

Hi,
OctaneRender is a render engine, so it bakes to texture that you give it at render time. The Hi-poly to Low-poly process has to be done in your host app, before using Octane Baking Camera option.

Why in host app where it takes ages with hi res enough things while seems it should be possible to do in Octane? See in the passes of attached file. At least I did it few times, then next time it didn't work at all. I couldn't figure out why it doesn't work at all sometimes. And it never works with Blender plugin hence my question about MAxbepeg4d wrote:Hi,
