strange issue installing on win 10 home

Hello,
I have 2 machines with windows 10 home.
Today I made a fresh installation of win 10 Home in my 8 core 2 980ti machine.
For strange reasons I can't copy the plugin files from another pc to the c:\programs files..It must be an administration issue despite Im administrator..
Itried everything...

I reinstalled LW not on the c: drive but on another and I can instal lother plugins..but when I try to install the 4.0 plugin of Octane in Lw 2018 is impossible..
Always I get that "plugin were not found or could not be added..."
Any suggestions?

Have you tried disabling UAC? Very strange, usually Windows will prevent you from saving into areas on the C drive but shouldn't prevent you from moving files directly.

You're positive your account is an admin?

Yes I m administrator...
i already did the UAC diabling.

Im thinking that I miss some update of windows framework as other plugins installa correctly..
But Janjo might be helpful in this.

The crazy thing is that all Octane plugins can't be installed...
I cleaned all the configs, made a new fresf install of lightwave as an administrator and tried to install the plugin to check if the 4.0 plugin was the problem but noway..
I can install all the plugins except Octane'sone.
BTW Octane standalone works...
Im getting crazy!!!

I tried to install the Visual C 2010 and 2012 that Juanjo was suggesting some times ago in an new system
but this is not working too...

I FIXED!!!!!
2015 redistributable package and now it work!

It would be better to put a note about this..

Yes sorry, currently the plugin works with VC++ 2015 redistributable package. I'll update this topic in the docs.
