Octane v4.0
Hi guys,
I'm new to the 3D scene so I apologize for lack of knowledge here.
Octane liveviewer is taking a long time to render out previews - I believe with my current setup that it shouldn't be taking anywhere near as long. I've spent 3 hours messing around and changing some settings and I can't get it to change any performance. Priority has been changed to high, C4D renderer preferences have been altered - still nothing. I also have grave concern for the 100% next to the graphics card (this moves from 96% in between 100%).
I've attached some screenshots - 1 from Octane Bench that I just ran, 1 from the viewport before my scene was sent to octane and then 1 from after it began rendering.
Thank you in advance.

You ask for better settings but don't show yours? Funny
Two things - you obviously use A LOT of displacement and your emitter is inside a glass orb. Especially the second one is not a good idea. Plus, did you use fake shadows in the glass material?

My friendly advice for you please read whole manual by click help buttons from plugin. Because you think C4d render settings does somethings. Manual has perfect basic information about tricks.
