I still get random crashes when simply moving nodes around in the node editor.

Is there a way to force quit Octane without force quitting c4d at at the same time?

No! What's beachball? Do you have a video about issue? And what happen if you disable node previews?
And this is latest to try

The OS X beachball of death.

I'll try out the newest version.

The OSX spinning beachball of death.

Using the latest stable build now, so far so good, and maybe it seems a little snappier.

Not a single crash since I installed the latest stable version, and I'm working it hard. Very impressive and not like Octane at all! Many thanks for the work you have put in Aoktar.

At last a crash, did well there for almost 12 hours, but crashed on the usual connecting and unconnecting nodes.

one time? Do you have bugreport? And try without using node previews.

Yeah, I'm sure it was probably node previews, they caused problems before.
