Hello,
I'm running Octane v4.00 on Windows.

I was struggling to understand why motion blur was not working with my project.
  1. The camera was stationary and I was moving a sphere. In the Octane Renderer > Main tab, I had Motion Blur set to Full Motion Blur mode.
  2. I set the Octane Camera Tag's shutter to 0.021 per another thread on the OTOY Cinema 4D forum.
  3. I had added an Object Tag assigned to my sphere and experimented with all of the Object motion blur modes in the tag.
Still, I could not see any motion blur.

Then I disabled Enable in the Render Passes and the motion blur appeared. I didn't see anything about this in the forums or Octane Help Manual section on Motion Blur, so I thought that I'd mention it here in case others have this issue.

To be clear, is it possible to output Render Passes after the motion blur has been applied? Thank you.

Of course yes! Have you try with on new project with new setup for different passes?

This fixed it, thank you.

I was confused by what might have changed, and after exploring it, I see that Motion Blur is disabled when Motion Vector is turned on.

Thanks again, Ahmet.
