Forgive me I've been a way for a bit in Octane. Just upgraded my license to 4.0. Got lightwave changed over to new plugin. Opened an old scene to try some things out. Mainly Noise etc...
I see where you can select AI Light checkbox...I don't see that there is an actual AI light...so I assume that I don't need to change my actual lights in the scene, just check this box for AI light in the kernel?
I see where I can denoise the scene as well. But this option doesn't seem to do anything major in the IPR, is this where I should see that or only in a final rendered image?
Any help in getting up to speed with the new system would be very helpful. Thanks!

In IPR, choose Beauty Denoised in Beauty pulldown menu.

Yes, you only need to enable this option in the kernel. There are no settings in the lights related to this feature.3dreamstudios wrote:I see where you can select AI Light checkbox...I don't see that there is an actual AI light...so I assume that I don't need to change my actual lights in the scene, just check this box for AI light in the kernel?
