Come on, rad, if that was of a picture of your GF (GirFriend or GeForce whatever) then thats OK, don't go changing your avatar just because you got bored, the original one was pretty fancy and easy to recognize so keep that one, if you made it yourself even better...
So who was that in the picture, the GF? Anyways I just thought you got hacked and someone changed your avatar picture and you weren't aware ... who knows, but it seems there were some other forces at play here..
Enjoy yourself whatever the occasion. Remember 99% of people here don't even know how you look (certainly it shouldn't really have any effect on what people think of you)
And of course ask for a opinion if you need some "proper advice"
