Hi,

After coming from Modo 701+Octane 3 (early version), I've upgraded to Modo 12 +Octane 4.
I opened my latest scene and when I click "Open Viewport" I get an error:
Insufficient free RAM Preference -> Octane -> Maximum Vertices is too high for the amount of free RAM

Maxium vertices in preference: 30000000

In Modo 701: 4855MB used / 866MB free / 8192MB total (1070 Ti)

What is wrong?

Cheers

p.s. in the standalone it works fine

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't help.

Hi - reduce the Maximum Vertices in the Preference as per the error message. You only have 8GB RAM on your motherboard, which will not be enough for 30 million vertices.

Thanks

I reduced it to 20000000 and now it’s working!
Thanks for the reply Paul.
