Hello,
I am new in octane for Rhino, I have been experienced in octane for cinema.
Actually I get along with it but I have a question about refreshing the viewport.

When I give an object a new octane-material it doesnt refresh in the viewport on its own, also after waiting a long time.
I always have to put the refresh-button for the geometry - is there a solution?

I work with Win10 the latest Rhino 6 and have the latest driver for my 1080ti.
The octane version is the latest 3_08_0_91_Demo

Thanks

Hi

If you click the Geometry tab in the plugin and then tick Live Geometry Update, checnges to the mesh should be reflected in the Viewport immediately. There are some changed that are not picked up by the plugin (UV mapping changes on the mesh for example), however support for these changes will be added to the plugin shortly.

Thanks

Paul

... thats it.

In the Geometry-Tab I couldnt switch on the LiveUpdate-Tab.
Under "settings" (downstairs in the Geometry-tab) I switched on "Scene Refresh on View Change", after that I could switch on the LiveUpdate-tab.

thanks
