Good afternoon

I stumbled upon blender market.com where they feature different shaders, materials, plugins, add-ons and so on..
What I miss there is a list of Octane compatible Blender add-ons...

So to start off I am testing Flip Fluids add-on on macOS 10.13.6, and the demo seems to render fine ;-)

Any other users here who can confirm working of a specific add-on for Blender which renders fine in Octane?
So I can update here a list of compatible ones and hopefully an admin here makes this topic sticky? (o;

OctaneBlender compatible add-ons

- Flip Fluids, macOS/Linux
- Render+ (not tested by me yet)
- Bricker, macOS/Linux, except Octane material
- AssemblMe, macOS/Linux

Render+ add-on is working fine too.

I think most add-ons that are not Cycles specific will work.
Some Cycles specific will need material conversion.

Think I will get me the Render+ plugin as well next Friday where there is the Black Friday sale on blendermarket.com from Friday to Monday.

Currently I examine the Bricker Python code and how to add the Octane Diffuse material nodes...
So far it walks through and gets all Octane Diffuse nodes rgba values and stores them...

You need to look for "OCT_DIFFUSE_MAT" in the node tree (o;

Just a quick hack today for the Lego Bricker add-on so it can accept OctaneDiffuse material color (o;

And a quick test with OctaneTexture works as well (o;
