First off, I've been doing more work in H rather than in C4D so obviously the smarter way to go is to just get the H subscription and render natively in H however atm I'm would still like to do the finishing rendering in C4D.

I've cached out an alembic scene which contains 6500,00 particle count and tried the octane scatter method, it does load however it's very unresponsive and it tends to freeze my system whenever I try to apply shaders or move around the camera.

I've optimized my settings and vram usage was around 2GB/4GB remaining but it still does lag. Using the v4 version gave me CUDA errors and the latest stable release is fine but it just freezes my system.

Tried a different renderer (RS) and it wasn't an issue. Is there an alternative or something that I should take note in working with large alembic files? (river sims, RBD simulations etc)
