So extra futher test....

For this Scene with Tires I have increase the "default samples per frame" to "50" and is working better, but when I use on the scenes I get jitter on the camera. Please investigate the fact shutter alignment is not working would be great but I still fell there is a big issue to get right MB on Octane compare to Arnold for example or Redshift.

I have issues with cameras aswell I'm doing a deep look at.

Cheers,
JO

Hi Bikram,

We did more tests on other scenes and still weird Motionblur render correct then start get weird results some frames without motion blur other with motionblur, some objects get jittering we find this on the forum : viewtopic.php?f=30&t=55745&start=10 we tried a lot stuff but is just not useful for motionblur is working by lucky.

and compare to other engines the mesh and animation is perfect on Octane is getting this weird results. Please any help??? Render with deadline is worse cause every 1st frame is rendering without motinblur basically because the settings is "Before" the first frame of the shot doesn't have motion blur (this is correct) but the plug if is rendered different parts of the same animation on different machine "ALWAYS" the first frame on that machine will be without motionblur.

For example if I render a anime frame 1-30 (first frame as should be is without motion blur the other should be fime)

The plug do a weird thing if I set 10 frames per machine frame 1-11-21 get's no motion blur and doesn't match the animation if different machine are picking the scene is more worse is just not stable for production motion blur. If I don't render in one machine only.

Cheers,
JO

Hi Jo,

Thank you for the post and attaching the samples.

There was a similar jitter issue reported and it has been resolved. However, we are still investigating on these.
It is normal not to have motion blur in 1st frame when using Shutter alignment as Before as it needs a variable amount of frames before the start frame of the frame range to render.

We have also requested Thinkbox to provide us a Deadline license so we can replicate the motion blur issue when the frames are distributed across network machines.

Will give you a constant update!! Thanks again!!

cheers
Kind Regards

Hi Jo,

Thank you so much for sample files and your patience!! Unfortunately, the development in 3.08.5 - 12.58 has been locked down to keep it stable.
The new build here [ viewtopic.php?f=109&t=69377&p=349724#p349724 ] have the fixed on camera jittering issue in batch render.

We are unable to reproduce the "timewarp" issue in 2018.4 updates. Could you please help us with the steps to replicate?

cheers
Kind Regards
