Hi guys, this is the first animation I created a number of months ago using Octane for LightWave.

If anybody cares to subscribe to this YouTube channel, we are trying to reach 100 subs so we can create a custom URL. But of course only subscribe if you want to see what I make down the road with LightWave or if you are interested in LED technology.

I am also working on a series of clips called "LED 101":

Feedback welcome also on the content. I am new to using Octane at this new job (so be gentle  ), but I love the speed and quality over native render at almost every juncture.
My biggest request would be if we could use the LightWave gradient node or weight maps available in LightWave native to drive different parts of the Octane materials.

Take care folks and thanks to everybody who has helped answer big & small questions along the way.

Looks really good.

How did you animated individual LEDs (around 27+ seconds of video) ?

Yeah lightvu, do you make those?

At 00:30 I would ease in just a little slower, but other than that, I loved it! Great job!

Nicely done.

Only criticism I have is to tone down the camera movement. Other than that its great.
