Just a quick question for anyone willing to drop some Knowledge.

I have 3 GTX 1080 TI Aero Cards and a 1050ti for my monitors, trying to figure out what I should upgrade to in the upcoming months?


I was thinking 3 gtx 2080s since NVlink will give me everything I need. 8x3=21GB (assuming that's how NVlink works)

For the price that sounds like the best deal since the Sell of the 1080TIs are around the same as the BUY as the 2080s with new improvement with the core,etc.

Let me know, intrigued.

Last I heard, the NVLink only works with 2 cards each. So if you have 3 cards, you can link 2 of them. If you have 4 cards, you can link them in pairs of 2...so you can double your VRAM, but that's it.
