Hi Guys,

When I run the latest version of the Blender plugin and try to render an image, this error is reported by OctaneServer:
Octane Engine v. 16.2.5

Octane: Starting Octane engine...
Octane: ...started
Octane: Activating license...
Octane: ...activated
Octane: LiveDB cache refresh started...
CUDNN_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR
src/Common.cpp(50): cudnnCreate(&tl_cudnn_handle)
CUDNN_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR
Octane: LiveDB cache refresh complete
I can run standalone version 4 RC5 with no cudnn issues. I have to quite OctaneServer to regain control of Blender.

Hi grimm,

I cannot reproduce it on my end. Does it happen every time?

Cheers,

Hi Drawfun,

Yep, but, I usually test with my spider scene, and it has issues. When I turn off denoising the error goes away. I think there is something wrong with the scene, I'm going to rebuild it at some point. I did test with other scenes and a simple test scene and it appears to work fine. Thanks,

Jason
