Hm, i render in 2xresolution, save the image, open it in Photoshop.
Then i select the dust and scratches filter with a radius from 1 and a threshold around 100.
After that i rescale 50%.
Save the image.

You can render it in 4x too same settings and 25% resize.
I think thats the best solution, as long till the Octane MTL is working...

I am running my gtx 460 2gb in a 450w source, no problem with pathtracing engine. I think, it could be a driver issue.
Try installing the dirvers here:http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cuda ... it_rc.html clean install.
Also if you have 2 cards, remove one and restart your computer then try only to render with this card, see what happen.

Perdona roco pero te contesto en ingles, ya que estamos en el foro general y es por respeto al resto de usuarios no hispanoparlantes... ;)
The drivers I use are the ones in the link for windows 7 x64
I am actually using both octane pre 2.3 v4 and 2.2b stable.
The link to the pre 2.3 v4 is up in kubo's post.
BTW your image is really nice, but as the rest I think path tracer would help the realism of the mood in your scene.
Saluditos

Well, your 460 could run on solar batteries if needed :D , actually that's what I like so much about that series, the 470 and 480 are power hungry, and noisy, on the other hand the 460 is around the 2xx series on power usage but is a fermi and comes packed with tons of vram. You could probably run a 470 on a 450w PSU, but with just a HD and regular processor, but if you add a second GPU and start adding up HDs and a top notch processor a 750w won't cut it either. (Well, maybe a really really good one might)
Also taberna is right, since we are on the public forum we should stick to english for undertanding sakes, or at least, try to give a fair translation along side.
