Hi,
on some scenes,i'm in trouble with rendering animation with octane : when i set frames to render (0->240 for example), octane begin to render but after the 1st rendered picture, the frame-range to render becomes 0>1 instead of 0>240, so it renders only 2 frames & stops...

what do you see in console? And do you have C4D shaders?

hi,
no c4D shader are in the scene. here is the log message
denoiserThread0 : Not enough free memory to run the denoiser. Required memory 453.47 MB
it is a little scene & i run it on a 32GB system with 8GB GPUs (3x1070) so it can't be a memory problem...

Any news on multi-instances?

Seem to work in cloner, but fails when making editable instance with multi-instance type

As you said It's working under cloner because I've integrated. Other than this is in my todo list. But believe me I have a very long todo list. Please keep eyes on next builds.

yes indeed, and it works when denoiser desabled (which is surely better for animations, it is a mistake if i've let the denoiser active)

Hi, I have been experience issues with octane's subdivision in a project that was created on 3.08-- currently using 4.0-RC5.

Sometimes when I render this project, the subdivision under the octane object tag does not come through. It sometimes works and sometimes does not and I can't say I experienced this before upgrading to this latest version...


c4d r19.068 / octane 4.0-RC5
