I've applied an octane scatter effect to a rigged character (to apply moss on a surface) and set the application mode to surface. However, when the character moves, the clones teleport around instead of staying in place. Obviously, this has to do with the clones trying to spread across the changing surface size. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Changing to vertex distribution makes the distribution tied to the amount of vertexes you have, which is way too low. Any thoughts?
I'm using Cinema 4D Octane Plugin fyi

There's no way to stop this. Because it's not designed to work on animated surfaces
