Using a texture to drive octane scatter

Hi Dudes,

Is there a way to us textures to drive the placement within the octane scatter. I am aware of vertex maps method but is there a way to use a greyscale image to do this - IE Black parts of the image for no scattering and white for scattering?

Appreciate any advice thank you.
