Yes, this is something you can already do, in standalone you may go to File > Account > Sign Out. This will close your session, which involves releasing all licenses in use by your machine and Octane will ask you for your credentials next time it starts.WIPEXPO wrote:can I ask for an option in octane settings :

And what i would want to have is a check box in activation status to be able choose : sign out on quit (releas all licenses)
This step could have reduced the amount of online licence unlocks need per user.

Seems that this is a bug,
Often when adding light emitter, it starts with AI light : processing and enters in an infinite loop and I should stop Octane. This occurs when many emitters are added, like using instances.

Well, that's what Octane does. It releases the licenses used by the process (unless another process on the same machine is still using them). The only possible reasons why the license does not get released:WIPEXPO wrote:Cool but often i find myself simply forgetting about this step, alt+f4 and I m off. 1) You are using the offline licensing mode, which is not available in versions >= 3.08.
2) Octane isn't shutdown correctly.
Assuming you are using version 4, leaves only option 2). Are you using the Standalone or a plugin. If you use a plugin, which one is it?

Does the AI light: processing label ever go away, and does Octane just lock up or does it crash?enricocerica wrote:Seems that this is a bug,

How many instances are you dealing with?

The message never goes away and Octane does not crash. Not so much instances, about 20 but they were high poly meshes (190000 polys), non sense of course and it wasn't intended. But I already met this situation with lower poly meshes and it's random, reloading project and restart it may result in GPU failing and reloading it again may work.wallace wrote:Does the AI light: processing label ever go away, and does Octane just lock up or does it crash?enricocerica wrote:Seems that this is a bug,

Guys, I believe Goldorak said glTF 2.0 Export was coming shortly after RC1...
The importance and significance of Octane glTF 2.0 export as part of a WebGL workflow can't be understated, for me at least. Not sure about others, but I for one am climbing the damn walls waiting for this.
