I have a c4d scene with lots of Octane materials, meshes etc. Most of these are switched off in the viewport using c4ds visibility buttons. When I fire up Octane, it loads all the unused materials and meshes before starting to render, which makes it slower than the native renderer to produce an initial image.
Can I turn this off and just have it load the items I actually need for the render?
Why does Octane load all mats and geometry before rendering?

It will not load hidden geometries, please test it again!
But it will load unused materials for LV/PV. There's an option for disable unused materials for PV. This option is not possible for LV by current desing and stability purposes!
Which version do you use? V3/V4? V4 is much faster on geometries.
