if i turn on Alpha channel, it works in the LV, but when i render the final Image in Cinema Picture viewer, it doesn't.
in the final render there is my hdri texture seen in the Background.
but i want to have it transparent like ist properly done in the LV.
whats the prob?
alpha channel works in LV but NOT in final render

It works, but you missed somethings! Did you checked the saved images for alpha? Did you looked to alpha option for saved file?

ok thanks, i clicked the alpha channel under "save" in the C4D render Settings. when i open this in photoshop i have the alpha channel available, so i can cut out my object manually and replace the Background. for still Images it works.
but what is with animations with thousands of single Frames? there must be another solution?

Where is the difference between using an alpha channel in Photoshop and using an alpha channel in After Effects?

You are totally right. As far as I know, no one figured out how to not grow old doing vfx yet. The science is just not there yet.Mindspi3D wrote:how do i use that technique in after effects with thousands of single Picture without growing old?

i render my Animation out as png sequence.aoktar wrote:You don't! What's your file format?Mindspi3D wrote:in photoshop i have to MANUALLY cut out my object.

this png sequence i want to use in after eccects.
then i want to have my object animation without any Background (but with all reflections on my objects Surface), so that i can add another background in AE.
thank you for this helpful comment.milanm wrote:You are totally right. As far as I know, no one figured out how to not grow old doing vfx yet. The science is just not there yet.Mindspi3D wrote:how do i use that technique in after effects with thousands of single Picture without growing old?

You can see alpha from png and disable or enable. It's like that since years, no problems.Mindspi3D wrote:i render my Animation out as png sequence.aoktar wrote:You don't! What's your file format?Mindspi3D wrote:in photoshop i have to MANUALLY cut out my object.
