just wanted to report bug in latest 4.00 release - v3 or whatever is it called. I got the app crashed, when trying to switch on/off Keep environment option while rendering with PT kernel was underway (and i had AI Denoiser turned on).
Obviously, this could be specific issue with my scene, combination of settings or hardware, just wanted to point it out, as it happened on both occasions i tried to do it (when i paused the rendering it worked)... perhaps it wil be replicable on your side too.
Out of curiosity, i noticed the CPU being actually under use more heavily to my surprise - i recall reading about plans to make Denoising work on CPU... so is it the case? I noticed by the sound of my CPU cooling/pump - its louder than it used to be and it sort of gets louder in certain intervals, i assume it could be down to those denoising passes? Anyway, if that is true, with the upcoming releases supporting the RTX architecture, will this Denoising use the Tensor cores hardware on those new GPUs?
The other question, when is the 2018.1 version with those Vectron/Spectron features gonna be released? Did i understand that correctly, that i will be able use Vectron for creating grass in my arch-viz rendering as an alternative to eithe displacement (which does not look that great) or using regular geometry (which comes with memory penalty unless instancing is used - which i dont, cause i use standalone

Thanks
