Hi,
in standalone I succeded to import OBJs from different 3D software with imperial units and all have the same dimensions thanks to imperial OBJ options. Now I like to replace/scatter them within Octane but transform node only offers metric values? Is there a simple way to change this to imperial - a multiply value node would already help I guess?
Thanks for advice.
Best,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
please note that you can do mathematical operations in the node editor number fields, so you can multiply/divide for 0.0254 for inches and so on.
ciao Beppe

Thanks Beppe,
was not aware of that and it helps if you have a single transform but in my case with 40+ pieces to place I keep on switching back and forth the unit system in my modeling software packages, It just surprizes me that you offer imperial on OBJ import but not from there on. I guess it could be easy to update the script for transform node but I have no understanding of lua so far.
