Hello Juanjo,
i have an issue with one of the project i'm working on actually,
although i have still 5 gb of memory left (1080 ti) , the IPR stops rendering
and goes black, i have the message "Octane can't render the shader ball (NULL)"
appearing in the bottom of the screen.
It's not a crash, but i can't render anything until i have relaunch LW.
IPR does the render fine, but stops as soon as i start working on the materials.
Until then, relaunching LW would fix it and i could still work.
Today it stops everytime i start to work on it.
If you have any clue? the project has 2.5 millon polys, not that much.
I' m on the last buid of Octane 3 + LW 2015.3
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
This is really a weird issue that I had not seen before. Can you please enable the Octane log and attach here the file that you get after reproducing this problem? A sample scene to reproduce it here could also help.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Thanks Juanjo,
for the moment, it seems i've have solved it by
switching my display from one of the 1080 ti to the mainboard graphics.
I still have 5 GB left (weird? there are 2 gb missing somewhere as i only have 4 gb used during the render) but
everything looks to be working fine.
Sorry, i can't send you the LOG as it has been overwritten since.
If this issue happens again, i wil make a copy of it.
I can tell you that the log was diplaying a type 2 error/out of memory though,
on both my 1080 ti cards.
Thanks again
