Often when rendering, 'pause' does not completely pause IPR.
It seems to pause item transforms but will continue to update camera transforms. This doesn't always happen only sometimes. It's gotten to the point where as a workaround I automatically hit (hotkeys) pause, resume, pause consecutively to make sure the pause worked. This often works but even then, sometimes IPR will still keep on updating camera transforms.

I think I'm able to replicate this issue (easy fix fingers crossed!!)
When the IPR render runs all the way to the set number of samples and stops by itself, if pause is then pressed IPR will still update camera transforms but not item transforms. I guess why this happens to me so often is I set my samples very low in the early stages of my scenes. So the low sample limit has been reached and I hadn't noticed and hit (hotkey) pause, thinking I'd paused it when it had already finished. Still, this is very annoying.

Hi Paul, could this be fixed for the next release? Can provide sample scene if needed but easy to replicate this one without a sample scene. Basically pause does not fully pause IPR when target samples has been reached, moving the camera still updates IPR.
Thanks,
Dino.

This is happening with all my plugins, and I think this issue is caused by a bug in the Octane API - which I have reported to OTOY.

How is it this a bug in the Octane API when it works properly in the Lightwave and C4d plugins?

maybe all your plugins are buggy.
I'd like to see this fixed as it stunts the workflow. you think it's paused but it's not. It's called pause, it should pause.
p.s. works fine in 3dsMax as well.
