Hi is a super super easy problem but for the life of me i can fix it.
I've got a helix and i'm looking to map a texture to it (snake skin). I'm trying to get the material to follow the curl and direction of the object but it just won't. I've messed around with both projection and UV mapping with no joy.
What have i missed?

in theory, you should only need to correct the U repetitions in UVW mode, if you are using a standard c4d Sweep Nurbs object.
