Ahmet, I'm curious to know if you plan on a C4D implementation of the new Planetary Environment node in Octane 4. Our company does an awful lot of Earth and other planet/moon/star/comet/etc. animations, and it could be extremely handy, particularly if we have controls to make non-Earth atmospheres. It's hard to tell from playing with it in Stand Alone, though, if it's something that might be adaptable within C4D to the kinds of animations we need.

Is there anything you can share along these lines? I can't recall seeing it mentioned elsewhere in regards to C4D.
Thanks,
- Frank

Hi,
Yes I'm planning to add it. But I need to make fully stable releases before that.

Thanks for the response, and good to know. Yes, stability of existing features definitely comes before new bells and whistles!

Hi!

Does anyone know if this made its way into the C4D release yet?

Cheers :)

Nope, not yet.

My company just purchased this AE plugin, though, and for the kinds of things we do (lots of realistic planets, moons, stars, etc.), it's proving to be super handy.
