Cinema 4D freeze when converting and adding Octane Materials

Hi everyone, first time posting here.

I have been using Octane with C4D for a while now, but lately when I start using Octane Materials, C4D just freezes, no pop up errors, nothing, the program just freezes. (I am using C4D R18 and Octane V3.08.2)

There are certain standard C4D materials with image texture that will guarantee freezes the program when converting, and sometimes even just adding some of the Octane material into the scene will do that as well.

I thought it might have to been the image texture being too large, but I tried low rez image texture, but the program will still freezes

I am not really sure how to troubleshoot this problem, because I am kinda a newbie of C4D and Octane.
