Slave render with Maya Plugin?

Is it possible to use a slave PC with Maya plugin? Or is it limited to the Standalone version?

Thanks Mojave, but I was more looking for an actual guide or tutorial dedicated to Maya. Like a step by step guide.
The page you linked only explains what Network Rendering is, not how to use it in Maya.
