I've noticed some odd/inconsistent behaviour when using native modo light as octane emitters. Firstly, I have "update on mouse button release" checked. If I move my light around the scene, octane IPR does not wait for LMB release, it will update as I'm dragging. Further more, if I PARENT the modo light to another object and move that object, octane IPR does not update at all (it does refresh but new light position does not show) A frame shift is required for the light change to show in IPR.

Is this a bug?

Sorry for the delay responding. I suspect the first issue is an unintended benefit. And the second is a bug, which I will look at.

Thanks Paul would be great to see this one resolved. As for the live dragging update I don't see this as a benefit if "update on mouse button release" is checked. On heavy scenes it's very cumbersome to work this way and is better if the IPR update happened after I've moved the light, not as I'm trying to move it. If live updates are required I could always uncheck ""update on mouse button release".

Cheers,
Dino.
