textures not updating when network render is enabled

Before posting a bug report, please check the following:
1. That the issue has not already been disclosed
2. That the issue is specific to this plugin, and not Octane in general (Try reproducing it in Standalone)
Bugs related to the Octane Engine itself should be posted into the Standalone Support sub-forum.


All bug reports should include the information below, along with a detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
A. Operating System, including version (i.e. Win 7, OSX 10.11.2, Ubuntu 14.04, etc.)
B. Graphics Card(s) model (i.e. GTX 580 - 3GB, TITAN, etc.)
C. RAM Capacity (i.e. 6 GB)
D. Nvidia driver version (i.e. 7.50, 7.5.22)
E. OctaneRender Standalone version, if installed (i.e. 2.24.2, 2.23, etc.)
F. OctaneRender plugin version (i.e. v2.25 - 2.21)
G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)
H. A detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it (Include Screenshots or video capture), as well as an example scene if applicable.
I. Copies of the Octane Log window and Console window outputs (full text attached as a file to your post is recommended).


Please note that reports of issues inside existing threads will be ignored/removed, and reports may be closed if the reporter does not respond to subsequent queries in the thread.

OS: Windows 10 Home Edition Version 1709
GPUs: 2X GTX 1080ti + 1X GTX 1070
Driver version: 3.13.1.30
RAM: 32GB
Octane Standalone Version: 3.08
Octane for C4D Plugin Version: 3.08
Cinema 4d R19 Studio Version R19.053

Slave PC:
OS: WIndows 10 Pro Version 1709
GPUs: 4X GTX Titan Z (2 physical dual cards meaning 4 cores, reads as 4 cards)
Driver Version: 3.13.1.30
RAM: 32GB
Octane Standalone Version: 3.08

When Network renders is active, sometimes textures don't update in one quadrant or half of the image. See attached image, the bump map on the left is no longer even in the project but is still appearing in the live viewer (it should look like right side)

Deactivating network render fixes the problem which leads me to believe its a problem with the slave not getting updated texture information.

Happened again with an animation sequence using 3.08
An animated texture is not being animated on the top left quadrant.

Same at me:

See attahed file: The object in the scene is a Computerscreen showing a movie sequence with applied animated texture emission material (as jpeg sequences single frame)

1. in life viewport of master the left half image rendered by slave wont update the material (material= animated texture emission via jpeg sequence). It seems to be "overlayed", a few parts of the screen showing the "real" state of the screen, and a mix of "not updated mat" – see atached image: IT should be a ONE screen image, with no layer/artefacts.

AND

2. no update of animation in queued mode rendering. The complete sequence is rendered well, but the animated emission texture stucks at the about the 10th frame of the JPEG Sequence, from then the material wont update,

Client and Slave same HW/SW configration.

2x MAC Pro 5,1 with each:
6-Core Intel Xeon
3,46 GHz
Prozessoren: 2
Cores: 12
2x EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Octane R 3.08 Standalone via Cinema 4d Plugin
OSX Sierra 10.12.6
Cinema4d R19.0.53

This results is in hassle of splitting the render scene and "manually" and render the scene using solitary cinema/octoane stand alones in frame area, withou using network rendering,.
So NETWORK RENDERING WONT WORK.


PLEASE HELP, Octane is my favourite!
But this workaround does not make sense.

Seems to WORK!!! Live viewer displays everything in sync (MAster/Slaves)

now get on queing test ... then its finally proofed ;)
