Daz plugin v1.2 will not allow to install

Hi guys not sure if anyone can assist here?

Upgraded to latest windows 10 doing clean install

Installed latest daz studio

Tried to install daz plugin v1.2 directory is greyed out cannot go past next on install

Any ideas?

What is the full filename of the installer you are using pls?

Can you post a screenshot of the error you are getting?

Will post later but it is Ocds v1.2 daz plug in as only have licence for version 1.x

Filename is: OcDS_Setup_V1_2.exe

It goes to the install after the agreement then to the select path for daz studio, that is greyed out then doesnt allow to click next.

Any ideas?

I'm sorry - but that release is no longer supported. You will need to update to Octane 3.

Ok sounds like ill have to stop using octane then cant afford to upgradr to 3 strange though coz it was still working until i did upgrade last week?

have also purchased new 1050ti card now standalone 1.55 not recognizing it card although does in preferences?

so basically after my gt 730 not functioning properly and doing new install

and purchasing octane and having a licence you basically saying i get no support and you want me to splash out more cash on a newer licence? without support like i am getting now?

I am not clear on what is and is not working for you. Octane 1 will not work with a 1050Ti as that card was not available when Octane 1 was supported.

i get that totally get ya as 1050ti uses different compute model and stuff. However!

I was using the gt730 which i think has now died as wont install the latest nvidia drivers works when i use octane standalone but not the plugin for daz, just bombs out.

Currently gone back to using gt710 which installed and works fine with nvidia drivers

Now i did a new clean install as got new SSD hard drive using also latest windows 10, since installing it this seemed to cause the issues.

When i come to install OcDS v1.2 the path is greyed out wont let me click next to install. Should i go back to using windows 7? would the installer work then?

As i cannot afford the upgrade i may have to start using IRAY on daz which i would then be able to use the 1050ti.

I am really sorry, but there is no way the Octane 1 version of the plugin will work with a modern card, and support for the version of the plugin finished years ago.
