I wish we could get instance animation offset like we use to in HD instance plugin. I wish he would update it of someone develop a new workflow.

you can it do as work around also with the lw instancer system. i show it as next.

Very nice, hoping you can share the "hack" to get offsets with LW Native instancing...this king of demo you show HAS to have such a thing, or it throws it off tremendously. Otherwise very nicely done!

Would even be better with offset on speed, allowing some to go a bit faster than others...and then flocking so they dodge each other through the race! lol.

yes!

the hack is in the end not a hack and is realy simple. (reason > in that way work the lw instancer) you need for that only a second or some variations from the start point from the animated cycle loop from the character + hirarchy with the bike.
so load the character and the bike set up in a seperate scene and replace the character with a copy from them and set all animated keyframes from the bike -10 or +10 frames. (or similar)
Than load that set up with load item from scene in the scene, go to the instancer system and copy from there all data from the original. create than a second instancer, load there your copied set up in and copy the data from the first instancer.(instancer > edit > copy settings)
than you need only to change the offset from your xyz parameter (position from your instances) and you gad it! (for change the speed for example animate the offset parameter for splines in the new instancer new/different!) so thats the way to do it with hirarchy instancing.
if you have a simple solo object you can go nother way. for that you can simple use the motion path for instancing and create there a offset. (much more simple)
so this here is only for instancing pre:animated "hirarchies" with automation (with follower plug ins or with expressions etc.pp) and offset/variate later the different instance hirarchys.
hope it helps.

Interesting. I will try this. I was thinking maybe you would bake as MDD then off set from that?
