Version 3.08.1-R4 (obsolete stable)

Hi. There is a problem with this version and it’s strange that no one noticed it.
When you hit render in the picture viewer, the video card that is used as a display device for monitor is not working. It has almost no load and c4d crashes. Everything works fine in live viewer tough.
Can you investigate this issue? I tried it on 3 computers and I also have a friend with the same problem.

Win 10, R19.

Same here with r19 and latest 3.08. windows 7

In live viewer all gpu are used, but picture viewer, cmd line render , deadline... i can never have all gpu that work at the same time , allways 1 or 2 cg left depending of configuration. (on 3 win7 config at least)
in v4 experiemental is working fine in this side.

I think I already had this version, but I reinstalled it,
it's exactly the same, on 4 gpu only 3 work when i launch render in picture viewer or with deadline.

Just reinstalled here too in R18 it cant render image sequence, it just crashes on 2nd frame.

I had the same problems as Yan.

In my case I have two cards and the main one works well in the viewport but then in the render it's always off no matter which settings I use, even if I setup for the render to only use that one card it will use the other one.
The problem doesn't happens in the stand-alone as I later confirm by exporting an animated orbx.

Also some of my colleagues have been having troubles with crashing using displacements in all the versions of 3.08 but worse in this last one, they also said the blend materials makes it worse.

Why don't you share a visible information for crashes and some sample scenes? We can't know what we're talking about this.

Aoktar take a look at this please. I dont have scene cause it happens even on empty scenes. R18 cant render sequences here. I only can provide this bug report. Do u need anything else? thanks

It's absolutely giving nothing, sorry! Try to remember when it started to do this. We don't have any problems like this with 3.08.1. You may have wrong install or driver issues.
