did you check the requirements?
Requirements:
-You'll need to update your Cinema 4D to latest versions(R16.050, R17.053, R18.057, R19.053). Otherwise the plugin will not work and not appear in menus.
-Internet connection for activation, be sure that C4D and Octane will not be blocked by firewall and any antivirus software.
-Updated Nvidia drivers(most recents like 39x.x) with Cuda 9.1 - change driver versions if you have much trouble with current driver
OSX 10.12.4 | Intel 12 core @ 3.33 ghz | 128 gb ram | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080TI | Ubuntu Linux slave with 3x 1080ti

It worked. I just had to try a couple of times. Thanks for the tip.
I have another question if you have a minute...
The C4D Zoom tool is very sensitive in the Live Viewer window. Is there a way to adjust that?

Do you know a lot about displacement? I watch tutorials and always run across the information when i dont need it. Then when and issue comes along, i have to watch the tutorials all over again...if i can find them.
The issue im trying to solve is that im adding "Blur Offset" to the displacement map to round the edges a bit, but any setting i put into "Blur Offset" doesnt show up in the render.

No I don't know much more about the displacement.
I'd recommend re-asking the question on one of your other threads though. Gonna be hard for someone to find in this CUDA thread
