Not sure what I did (maybe something with denoise settings...) but F9s no longer work.. going back to 3.x, until 4.x is ready for prime-time...

Win10Pro || GA-X99-SOC-Champion || i7 5820k w/ H60 || 32GB DDR4 || 3x EVGA RTX 2070 Super Hybrid || EVGA Supernova G2 1300W || Tt Core X9 || LightWave Plug (v4 for old gigs) || Blender E-Cycles
Probably you have the "Enable all GPUs for F9/F10 rendering" option enabled in the plugin options panel, GPUs tab. This is known issue already fixed for the next build.FrankPooleFloating wrote:Not sure what I did (maybe something with denoise settings...) but F9s no longer work.. going back to 3.x, until 4.x is ready for prime-time...
Thanks,

Sorry, I don't have other reports about a problem like that. A scene to reproduce this problem here could help a lot, or at least any clue about what kind of objects are not rendered (mesh object, objects with subdivisions, cloned or instanced objects, etc.)AndyM1969 wrote:I've had to uninstall 4, at this point adding objects to a scene which don't render makes it completely unusable.
Thanks,

With this whole AI | neural networks | training thing, is there a place to submit problematic scenes to train this AI-In-A-Box?
So far my tests with folliage - particularly receding grass, leaves into distance is ok'ish, but definitely not super impressive like some other tests.
Cheers

Yes send the ORBX to Vijay and we can get it in the training set.adkkda wrote:With this whole AI | neural networks | training thing, is there a place to submit problematic scenes to train this AI-In-A-Box?

Great, thanks for the prompt response Goldorak. It was a pretty complex scene so I'll get an optimised version to Vijay asap.Goldorak wrote:Yes send the ORBX to Vijay and we can get it in the training set.adkkda wrote:With this whole AI | neural networks | training thing, is there a place to submit problematic scenes to train this AI-In-A-Box?

I assume you take care of rendering the base / control image yes ?
Lastly, the tests I did was for pretty hefty 12x6k resolution images so I'm not sure if that factors into the equation?
I'd post the pic but my organisation hasn't released it publicly yet.
Cheers
i had the same issue at the beginning. reinstalling one more time the plugin helped. remove master plugin first, then delete octane plugin in layout. quit, manually delete extensions cache and then restart and add manually new plugin version. i figured out it's the only safe way to install a completely new version of octane on my setup. hope that helps.AndyM1969 wrote:Juanjgon, objects not seen only in Octane 4, working fine in all other versions. Can't send you scene, sorry it has paid for assets. It's now happening in every scene. This is a massive bug. Try to replicate by creating a scene, then after saving scene load a new object into the scene, this is when the problems start.
