Hello octane developers,

since the new Oculus Go is out now,

https://www.oculus.com/go/

I would like to ask if there is any plan to support it, by making it possible to load stereoscopic orbx files on it like we can now with the Gear VR?

It would be a very good device to be handed out to our clients, it has earphones, is lightweight and compact without a phone, and relatively cheap.

Thank you for your feedback and best regards

Andreas

Thanks Paride ! -> that was fast ;-)

Can anyone ( who has really tried it...) tell how it compares to the Gear VR with a S8 or S9 in terms of quality ?

best

I too would be really interested in hearing feedback from those with experience using the latest GearVR, and especially how it compares to the new Oculus Go.

I posted a similar thread a few weeks ago:

Otoy: where can we go to learn more about the current status of the ORBX format and what existing or planed developer tools are available for creating interactive animated ORBX panoramic environments?
