Hi Juanjo,
Thanks for the new release.
I don't know it's bug only on my station or no but. Octane is losing volumes in version 3.7. Looks like volumes don't want to transfer in octane. The same with vdb.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this issue. It seems that indeed some volume objects are not rendered now. I'll investigate it.

The problem with the volume objects was related to a bug in the test04 API used for this build. It is already fixed in the latest test06 API, so this problem should be also fixed for the next plugin build that I'll release shortly.

Thanks,
-Juanjo

Is there any support of passing @Cd attribute as RGB color yet?

Not full support yet, but you can use the Cd attribute with the instances, curves and particles. You have the options to pack the Cd information in an UV map in the Octane OBJ spare parameters.

Hi,
for actual geometry, You can use the uv2 and uv3 associated with color ramps (one with red and green, the second map with blue ) to get the same result :

Hey Juanjo,

I don't get how to render instance colors. Do you have an example scene for that? I'm also quite confused with "texture instance color" and "tool instance range" can you give a quick explanation of what this does.

Cheers, Lukas
