hi people,

i´d like to play around with v4 in c4d. i seem to have read that the plugin is available.
will this mess something up with projects currently made on 3.08?

best,

Both are nearly same on plugin part. But render results may differ between two due renderer changes.

Hi,
v4 experimental builds are not for production, and something could be broken with old scenes.
Better to make a backup copy of your projects, if you want to test them in v4.

thank you both very much.

i have infact installed v3 on r18 and v4 on r19, also have the projects saved differently too.
i do have crashes to report but on the whole the v4 seems smoother.

cheers,

You may post your bugreports in release thread for V4 if you mind. I'm aware of that V4 is not near to stable state. Thanks!

i hope you mean your xb2 thread. that is where i am reporting in, and thanks for your work btw.
my only wish is that volumetric denoise is on the horizon somewhere.
