It appears from the bug report that Foundry have been able to fix this crash. So it will be in a future Modo release (next release?).

I tried the 12.1 beta but its still not working. I know its a foundry issue I just wanted to give a heads up.

Yes, I found the same thing. I have been in contact with Foundry about it, and I am still hopeful a fix can be found for 12.1v1.

I can now confirm that this crash is FIXED in the next Modo release (12.1v1) combined with with the next Modo plugin release built with Octane 3.08.2. The plugin release built with Octane 3.08.1 still results in a crash.

Thanks

OTOY have provided a patch for 3.08.1, so this should now be resolved with the 3.08.1.131, which I will release later this week (if you are using the latest Modo beta).
