Error 700, in PMC kernel / single frame

A simple scene (https://www.dropbox.com/s/dd9njgvm7vw52 ... e.zip?dl=0), about 3 minutes into the PMC render, this happens:

I have just tested your scene and I could render all samples using the latest NVidia drivers (397.31) on Windows 10.

Could you share more information about your OS, NVidia driver version and the GPUs you currently use?

Does this happen consistently or are there any actions you do after loading the scene that cause the issue?

Thank you for responding. I was on driver version 388.xx updating now to the latest 397 version. The error occurred consistently on the last version. I'll post back here after the upgrade.
