cannot open node editor

Hi Folks,

I'm having trouble opening the node editor. I've tried all the different buttons, i.e. on the texture, on the dialog and using the menu and all that happens it the texture preview ball 'flashes' like its updating but no node editor window opens. Does anyone know why this may be? Could it be a conflict with another renderer? I have Redshift and Cycles4D installed also (and Vray and Corona but they don't use nodes).

Any help much appreciated.

Are you sure it's not open but minimised?

It wasn't minimised but I have found it. It was docked and the tab was hidden in a bunch of others so I hadn't seen it. I've saved a config with it un-docked now.
