Hey there,

we recently updated to version 3.08.
Standalone works, Live Viewer works, even rendering without changing the settings works, BUT, once you click on the "octane renderer" tab in C4D's rendersection, it fails on finding the "vprenderer.res" data.
After that the octane render section is empty, since it couldn't read anything.

Did a clean install. C4D and Nvidia Drivers are up to date. Standalone works. No issues beside that. Tried to reinstall. Earlier versions work.
Tried what was mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=54672&p=282673&hil ... er#p282673
but didn't work.
It's a bit different though, since here it says "couldn't find" (instead of "couldn't read" vprenderere.res) ...
And it starts at "Line 3" but continues with almost every following line, so you have to hit that OK-button ike a hundred times.

Greetings,
Luke from Pirates n' paradise

Check your c4doctane/res directory for "vprenderer.res" file. It should be there with another *res and *h files.

Well it's not in "c4doctane/res", but in "c4doctane/res/description".
Sure these files are there, as we already tried some stuff mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=54672&p=282673&hil ... er#p282673
Also tried a clean reinstall; the files are there, but somehow c4doctane is not able to find them.

It's very old topic on very different release. There was a very different reason about that. Forget it pls.
Be sure that you installed your plugin to correct location as written in readme.txt.

Yes, got that.

And yes: everything is installed and done like it's mentioned in the readme.txt.

PS: We tested it on several Windows 10 pc-systems with other cards and hardware components. Exactly the same error. Everythings else, like LiveViewer and stuff works.
