I never got to have the good Zdepth when I render my scenes in EXR !
Always white, like the alpha! I make the right settings distance !
I do not understand !
If anyone has the solution, it's cool!
Thanks

Hi,

Here this feature seems to work fine. Can you please attach one of your test scenes where the zdepth pass doesn't work?

Thanks,

Where do you open EXR file? In Photoshop or ?

Photoshop desn't normalise it so it looks like full white/black. But PS is not great with 32bit files anyway.

Try to render Zdepts as 8-biz PNG tonemapped from Octane, that one should work in Pshop.
In AE you can use Normalize function to tweak / see it, and in PS you can try with exposure sttings in bottom left corner to bring the visibility of Zdepth back.
